Please consider a generous gift to the Animal Welfare Council/ Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic – what a great way to honor a special animal lover in your life or for that hard to buy for person. A donation in any amount will go a long way to support animals and will be gratefully accepted. For each donation we will send a beautiful holiday gift card to that special person letting them know that they have been honored in a meaningful way – a way which will live throughout the entire year each time an animal is spayed or neutered, each time a hungry animal is fed, each time an animal is sheltered from the cold and each time a youngster is taught about being kind to animals. Please consider this great gift idea in your holiday giving. Donations in any amount can be sent to the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic at 1380 Shawville Hwy Woodland, PA 16881.

Riley Ryen - age 10, Hannah Stiner – age 6, and Lexie House – age 8, are the winners of the 2015 ‘Be Kind To Animals’ T-shirt design contest sponsored by the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic of Woodland. They are holding their T-shirts with their winning design. The contest was open to all youth aged 6 – 17 years; drawings focusing on the ‘Be Kind to Animals’ message were received from well over 100 youth in Spring 2015. This is the third year that the Animal Welfare Council has sponsored the contest. The council hopes that the contest will highlight this important message and educate area youth about being kind to animals. T-shirts with the winner’s designs are available for sale at the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic 1380 Shawville Hwy Woodland – 857-5280. They make great gifts and it’s a great way to support the efforts of area youth and needy animals.
