2017 Winners of Be Kind To Animal t-Shirt Design Contest Announced PICTURES ADDED!!

Noah Troxell - age 6, Madison Elizabeth Howe - age 8-9, Isabella Walls - age 11, and  are the winners of the 2017 ‘Be Kind To Animals’ T-shirt design contest sponsored by the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic of Woodland. The contest was open to all youth aged 6 – 17 years; drawings focusing on the ‘Be Kind to Animals’ message were received from multiple school districts from well over 200 youth in Spring 2017. This is the fifth year that the Animal Welfare Council has sponsored the contest. The council hopes that the contest will highlight this important message and educate area youth about being kind to animals. T-shirts with the winner’s designs will be available for sale after June 17 at the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic 1380 Shawville Hwy Woodland – 857-5280. They make great gifts and it’s a great way to support the efforts of area youth and needy animals.

Eislyn Kephart - age 7, Kinley Reed – age 9, Kinley Benser – age 10, and Meghen Hepfen – age 16 are the winners of the 2016 ‘Be Kind To Animals’ T-shirt design contest sponsored by the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic of Woodland. The contest was open to all youth aged 6 – 17 years; drawings focusing on the ‘Be Kind to Animals’ message were received from at least 4 school districts from well over 100 youth in Spring 2016. This is the fourth year that the Animal Welfare Council has sponsored the contest. The council hopes that the contest will highlight this important message and educate area youth about being kind to animals.
